Professor Shujuan Jia, Deputy Director of Shenyang Key Lab of Environmental Engineering, came to Australia and visited CWWT and ACCWR on 28 February 2006.
Deputy Director of CWWT, A/Professor Richard Stuetz met Professor Jia and they had a discussion about the potential projects that would be developed in next one to two years. These projects included fundamental research and application of technology, which cover the areas of wastewater treatment process, environmental risk assessment and sustainability. At the end of the meeting, Professor Jia agreed to prepare a detailed proposal for the issues discussed and the further discussion of the proposal would be done by email.
