Australia-China Consortium for Water Research (ACCWR, 中澳共建水处理研究中心) was established to facilitate interaction and cooperation between Australia and China in areas related to research and training on water resources management including: hydrology, riverine, estuarine and coastal science and engineering, water quality, water and wastewater treatment, water reuse and sustainable development of water resources.
ACCWR was initiated by UNSW (The University of New South Wales) water-related academic staff, to encourage the involvement of academic staff, administrators and facilitators from other institutions in both Australia and China. An associates scheme will be established with Associate Membership of ACCWR open to funding contributors, project principal investigators and those providing key administrative input.
